Just a few days now to our ever popular annual Football Tournament and Family Fun Day. Once again, the event is taking place in Wrenbury, at the Wrenbury Sports & Social Club, Nantwich Road, Wrenbury. The facilities at Wrenbury are excellent – two changing rooms, a play area and most importantly a bar (which serves real ale) and all in close proximity to the pitch. Getting there couldn’t be easier, the club is less than 15 minutes walk from Wrenbury Station. Trains leave Crewe at 10:11 and 12:11, arriving in Wrenbury just 15 minutes later. Return journeys leave Wrenbury at 16:14 and 20:12!
It should be noted that Wrenbury is designated as a request stop. So passengers intending to get off there should tell staff on the train in good time, and those wishing to board should give a clear signal to the approaching train.
