Fan's Views - Leeds United, League One,

Saturday 6th September 2008, Elland Road

A poor performance all round, our home form has been very good but the away form is woeful. With this in mind, Steve needs points from the next two games v Colchester and Southend at home or he will be under huge pressure !

An awful display, and no player can come out of the game with any credit.  Steve is under pressure having spent 700k + this season.  Proof will be in the pudding now, points are needed and quick !

Only Crewe Alexandra can beat Barnsley, Bristol City and Walsall at home in a convincing manner then lose to bottom of the table (Hereford) and struggling Leeds United 5-0.   We have the same back four and the same middle four as last season, new blood is needed or another long hard season is ahead

Don't let the two late goals put any bright side on today's performance.  Totally outplayed with our midfield being non existent.  Cheer of the day was when Rix was subbed.  Although the goals were mainly cracking efforts, concerns must be raised about shot stopping abilities of Collis - perhaps they should send him to same opticians as Clayton Ince.  Colchester is a must win game

Oh dear, what a load of rubbish. Hopefully O'Connor will come back from international exploits fully fit as we certainly missed him.  Bopp had a fairly good cameo role when the game was already lost.  It didn't take Mastermind or Chris from eggheads, to work out why they let Elding go, as he was the most inefficient forward on the pitch. Perhaps Ben Williams was not such a bad keeper after all on today's performance by Steve Collis.

Still we had the England massacre to look forward to, and that was just as bad.
