Fantastic display of true grit, determination and at times, quality football. We played really well and deserve to be in the next round, we seem to have a fantastic team spirit and are exciting at the moment, long may it continue and bring on Stoke in Round 3.

After last years pitiful exploits in all cup competitions last year, it's nice to have a cup run. Deserved to be in front in the first half, but had to defend well as the game wore on with O Donnell and Baudet (at last) marking Dele and Nicky out of the game. We do appear dangerous on the break, and it was this that led to the second goal. Popey was my MOTM again as he worked ever so hard.
David Barlow. Can't wait to hear the cup draw on Saturday where hopefully we will get a top premiership club, or maybe even Stoke!!! Really enjoyed tonight with every player having an impact. Priase must go the all the defence who looked certain for a clean sheet until that bullet from Brian Wilson to give the travelling fans hope. But we held on, and had more chances to extend our lead. Some of our more maligned players did great tonight - Rix, Baudet and O'Donnell, and already looking forward to Hereford on Saturday. Russ Edwards. We battled superbly and never dropped the pressure, it's great to see us performing again.Elding and O'Donnell stood out with excellent displays and Bailey put in a great shift in an unprefered position, the ideal next round tie would have to be at home to Stoke.

A fine performance! A good attacking display complemented with defensive stability and even a decent showing from Baudet! It would be great to have a cup run, our last decent one was in the F.A Cup when we were knocked out in Round 5 after a replay with Everton. Hereford next and I am very much looking forward to the trip to Edgar Street as I fancy The Railwaymen to keep the momentum going and grab another victory. Come on The Alex!
