Will rain stop play?

Rain really should have stopped play at Nantwich, but will it at Holmes Chapel? Having got your "footy fix" with the opening game of the season on Saturday, August 8th, why not join us for our annual cricket tournament on Sunday, August 9th? Once again it will be held at the Victoria Sports & Social Club, where last year, Wayne Powell's Sandbach Travelling Alex team prevailed. Getting there is easy, take the train! A twelve minute journey, leaving Crewe at 10, 12 and 14:56! Or if your driving, aim for Junction 17 of the M6 (Sandbach), and turn onto the A5022 (Holmes Chapel Road). At the T-junction turn left onto the A50 (Dog Lane/London Road), continue under the railway bridge before turning second left onto Victoria Avenue.

Team participation is by invitation, so please don't call us if you're seeking a game. However, if you fancy a drink, some food and some good old English summer fun. See you there?
